In what most would class a difficult site we instantly got excited about the possibilities! A spur of land pushing out due north over a valley below and with ranges to the west we knew if we could anchor this into the site we'd create something special. Instead of using the existing cut platform and foregoing lawn space ATA decided to cut in adjacent and float our living wing right over this to create a large landscaped space bathed in sun and sheltered from the prevailing winds. With it's rural backdrop we've taken cues from simple implement sheds in the surrounding area and kept the material palette strong, resilient and simple. Can't wait to see her built!

A true beach Bach renovation. Converting a 1960's Beazley Home into a space more suitable for this young family. [adamtaylorARCHITECTURE] enjoyed this brief and the working relationship with the clients. In what was a very small space we have created a large family home. ATA also undertook the kitchen design and fitout of the living spaces designing custom built in seating, storage and media solutions.

A challenging project balancing privacy and planning requirements against existing engineering constraints. We wish the clients many happy summer days on the deck and evening BBQ's around the fireplace.

A new family home based around a pavilion design to harness good solar gain and make use of the generous double site. Utilizing a natural palette of materials and finishes including concrete block, cedar ship-lap alongside upgraded insulation measures including underfloor slab insulation this project encompasses many [adamtaylorARCHITECTURE] core values. The Jenkins residence is a 6-7 month build and we will have monthly progress photo's loaded along with interesting sustainable product + constructions measures employed so feel free to follow along
